The Ecor Pro DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier is a great choice for hire companies, building firms or people in need to protect the environment of an area with a robust and reliable product. Perfect to dry out new builds where it will extract up to a maximum of 46 litres per day no matter what the temperature and without the need for external heaters. Working down to -20 degrees centigrade drying efficiently and drying cost effectively.
Being compact, the DH3500 desiccant dehumidifier can easily be carried by one person. Several DH3500 desiccant dehumidifiers can be transported at once in a light van or even in a normal family car without the fear of water leaks after of residual water in the tank.
The DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier is coated with Zintec to protect against corrosion while maintaining strength. This anti corrosive protection is carried on internally where many other dehumidifiers fail to protect internal components adequately. The DH3500 desiccant dehumidifier has a tubular exo-skeleton that provides tough protection from knocks and bumps and that double as carrying handles and where the 4 feet are mounted for absolute stability and safety.
The controls are equally robust & can be linked to a remote humidistat or switched over to manual control with one switch. An analogue Amp Meter means that owners/managers can review performance and measure energy consumption for claiming back monies from insurance claims or other for their operation.
A run timer makes this ideal for the hire market clocking the number of hours the machine is in operation making it simple to charge per session of usage if so desired.
The DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier benefits from a simple dust filter in metal filter frame that can be shaken clean or replaced quickly replaced quickly to prevent dust particles entering the unit and impeding performance.
Maintenance and eventual repair have been thought through with an easy to remove cover that gives easy access to replace cord sets or warn parts by a qualified persons quickly. Prolonging the lifetime of the DH3500 is easy. An investment product for the professional user.
Designed to dry out areas fast, the Ecor Pro DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier is ideal for flood and water damaged buildings, boat maintenance, car garages, drying wet plaster or painted rooms, work drying rooms or for keeping items dry in a warehouse storage environment. Other applications also include using the DH3500 desiccant dehumidifier in industrial processes that require drying including food preparation or remote outbuilding protection such as in electrical substations, gas or water pump houses, telephone exchanges and computer server rooms.
Applications in the past have included more diverse uses such as florists, hair dressers, bakers, hair dressers, caravans, holiday homes, yachts, funeral parlours and temporary housing structures such as Portokabins.
Using the Ecor Pro DH3500 Desiccant Dehumidifier
In drying applications the exhaust duct can be extended without loss of performance up to 6 metres. At 9 metres performance will reduce by typically 30% and at 12 metres will reduce by 60%. No damage will be caused to an Ecor Pro’s DH3500 when the hose is extended. The Ecor Pro DH3500 is self regulating.
It is recommended that the Ecor Pro DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier is placed in a position so there is a natural downward wet air exhaust duct to ensure any condensate build up in the exhaust duct flows out of the duct rather than back into the DH3500
The DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier will resume operation straight after a power out making it ideal for use in locations where there is a danger of an interruption to the power supply making it ideal for remote unattended dwellings or where the electricity supply is prone to power outs.
The DH3500’s 4-hole system means that the dehumidifier can be permanently (or semi-permanently) installed.
DH3500 Building Dryer Operation Options Include:-
Mode 1 – Having the DH3500 free standing or mounted internally in the damp environment and ducting out the warm moist air through the 80mm duct which gives a slight negative pressure to the room.
Simply put the DH3500 in the damp room and exhaust the damp air through a secure hole such as a wall vent, letter box or secured window, Exhausting air to the outside creates a slight negative pressure to the room meaning air is drawn in from outside. The loss of performance through ingress of air through any opening around the duct through the secured window or other is minimal (Regen air 13% of input air).
Mode 2 – Mounting the DH3500 desiccant dehumidifier externally and ducting dry air from the DH3500 into the damp room through a 120mm diameter duct giving a slight positive pressure system.
Mode 3 – The DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier mounted externally, taking air from the room via a 120mm duct, processing the air and returning the processed dry air back into the room by another 120mm duct. This will give a pressure neutral system
Mode 4 – The DH3500 desiccant industrial dehumidifier mounted internally, venting out the room the wet air via a 80mm duct and replacing the air from the outside via a 80mm duct from the outside via another 80mm duct (regen air). This will give a pressure neutral system
Difference Between DH2500 & DH3500 Building Dryers
The DH3500 building dryer is slightly larger than the DH2500. The DH2500 building dryer is used where pressure neutrality is not an issue & capacity need is less. The DH3500 can dry a room pressure neutral.
Neutrality may be important. If wet air is ducted outside a building, then air from outside the building must come in to replace it. 15% of air is exhausted during operation with the DH2500.
The DH3500 building dryer can also be used like the DH2500 building dryer just with one duct venting wet air out.
As a note, the DH2500 & DH3500 can be used together with the BD900 or BD1200 building dryers that dry using compressor technology to condense the water. This hybrid operation gives the benefit of low temperature drying and condensing water to be collected in a container or can be pumped away.
Optional Parts For the DH3500 Desiccant Dehumidifier
– To regulate the humidity to a specific level from through a range of 40-90% Relative Humidity (RH) we recommend the Ecor Pro EPHUM220 external 220V humidistat that comes with the plug fitted & a 3m cord. This humidistat plugs straight into the front of the Ecor Pro DH3500. The humidistat can be placed in the room that requires regulating.
